Kiddie Party for Adult

Have you experience to have a birthday party when you ‘re a kid? Well, some of us might celebrate it at home with our family but for those kids with rich parents (or mas magandang sabihin–may extra money for party) they can afford to throw a big party with numerous attendees plus gorgeous cake, colorful balloon, pair of clown etc..etc..Birthday celebration especially at the age of 4 to 9 is such a happy moment. It is a perfect age when the celebrant could really appreciates the maximum level of being in the spotlight. The attention of the crowd will be yours and as you grew up there’s always a recall of meaningful childhood. But not all kids were fortunate to have their own kiddie party. Most of the times, contentment exist even when your just an invites and not as a celebrant.

Who ever thought that kiddie party is limited to kids only? Or too late to have one? Last July 6, I attended a kiddie party but unlike a normal scenario the birthday celebrant, my colleague, is also young not by age but by heart and mind. Yes, it’s a kiddie party for us, adults. Actually one month prior to her birthday she gave us a hint that she will gather all her friends and have a memorable party. After a series of planning she make her dream come true. A kiddie party!!!! When asked why she want to have a kiddie party she just gave me a straight-forward answer that she never experience it when she was a child. So now that she can able to fulfill her wish she never miss the opportunity to celebrate it with a blast.

At 6:30pm, we supported her dream by attending her kiddie party at McDonalds. Of course, we are requested  to wear a child-ish clothing. A-ha, this is what i love dressing like a kid. Anything goes. No worries. Kahit na ano. It’s all for fun!!!!

Birthday party is not complete without games. So nice to see an adult playing like a kid. An hour of laughing and great energy.

Let’s play a game…….

And of course, smiling in front of unlimited shots….

I thought we’ll also have a happy meal but since we’re all adult and it’s dinner time, she order for chicken grand meal with apple pie and ice cream. It reminds me of “feeling grand” commercial of McDonalds. Hehe. Some of MDonalds customer (mostly foreigners) who sits outside our venue were looking at us. They find it weird when they see an adult party-ing at suppose-to-be kids event. Well, for us–it’s not weird…’s one-of-a-kind experience to act like a KID again. Cheers for joy-ful celebrations!!!!!
