A continuation of our quick stopover to Singapore….
9:27am
We can’t deny how our eyes were hooked to the promising design of Marina Bay Sands (MBS). Its visible from every place we visit-Downtown Core to helix Bridge. I’m so grateful enough to see it from outside but I never thought my cousin will help us explore the three tower.
9:44am
Time to recharge our energy after burning our calories due to excessive walking in the first 2 hours in the Lion City. We need to eat something. Since we are already inside MBS my cousin lead us to Rasapura Masters located at B2-50 Canal Level, the Shoppes. It is the right place to have feast on the Southeast Asian specialty.
We order a bowl of Yong Tau Foo, Chicken Satay, set of Dim Sum and Kaya Toast with hot chocolate.
10:37am
After our short brunch the 3 of us walk to see the other highlight of MBS. It is said as the premier entertainment destination. We saw Casino inside which according to my cousin was operating in a very strict manner because they don’t want the locals to be addicted in gambling. Those who went here for shopping will find MBS as their happy place. There’s a lot of high-end stores to choose from.
It’s also nice to stumble upon a water canal inside the Mall where you can try to ride in a Chinese wooden boat.
10:45am
Moving forward to see the rest tower of MBS. Most of the corner is definitely good subject for photography.
10:51am
One of the must-visit site of MBS is Sands Skypark located in level 57. It is an observation Deck perched in the 3 tower that offer a 360deg. view of Singapore. a Day pass cost SGD 23.00.
11:00am
Wow, I can’t believe I could see some part of Singapore from above. Welcome to Sands Skypark Observation Deck!
Right after the entrance, were getting the best view of Gardens by the Bay.
Look at the Sea as it hugged the country’s boundary.
Oh, a Restaurant in the middle of observation deck.
See the lotus-inspired design of ArtScience Museum.
The infinity swimming pool that crowns MBS. Wow!
The Float at Marina Bay. Look at the colorful combination. It was actually a seating area.
A picturesque of Singapore’s high rise building.
11:30am
We don’t stay much longer in the Skypark as its getting hotter and we need to go back to the airport for our 2nd flight.
Our quest to find the nearest MRT. Thanks to my cousin who extend her generosity in lending her EZ link card and accompanying us to Changi Airport. By the way, we follow this route:
Bayfron t—> Bugis—-> Tanah Merah —> Changi Airport
12:30pm
We finally reached Changi Airport Terminal 2. Check in was much easier and spend the remaining hours in Duty Free to buy souvenirs.
02:10pm
bye (for now) Singapore. See you soon Manila!
Yehey, I did it!!! Another one-of-a-kind experience I will never forget. Thanks to my two cousin who make this trip possible. I’m so blessed to see Singapore in 8hrs. Oh yes, an 8 hours might be less to explore every tourist spot in Singapore but believe me within that short period of time you can do more to see at least some part of it. Lots of walking, talking and sightseeing; our feet are not excuse for aching yet we know every step we did is worth fulfilling.
